| ACCESSING KARNATAKA GEOPORTAL |
| 1.To access the Karnataka GeoPortal Web Site, Open a Web Browser (Mozilla 3.5 or greater is completely supported by) and type the following link in the address bar: http://www.karnatakageoportal.in . |

| 2.The HOME page at the left hand side has the details of the Karnataka GeoPortal and has the links with the details of KSCST, NRDMS and Services of Karnataka GeoPortal. |
| 3.To use the services of Karnataka GeoPortal we need to Login to the portal using the PORTAL LOGIN available at the Left Side of the Home Page. |
| 4.Use the credentials provided to you/registered by you and login into the portal. If you are a new user please use "Sign Up" and Register. |

| REGISTERING TO KARNATAKA GEOPORTAL |
| 1.To Register, Click the "Sign Up" on the Home Page and you will be presented the below web form to enter your details and once you submit the details you will be mailed with the details of your registered user id and password to the e-mail id provided during the registration. |

| 2.Once you register, you will be shown a "SUCCESS" message saying your registration is success with Karnataka GeoPortal and you will also receive an Activation Link to the registered mail address. |

| 3.Once you receive the registration and activation details on your mail. You need to click on the activation link to activate your registration. |

| 4.Once you have clicked on the "Account Activation" link. Your account is activated. |
| 5.Now you can successfully use the login credentials and login to the Karnataka GeoPortal. |

| 1.As we login we get the home page, which will allow us to navigate to various modules of the portal with respective permissions. |

| 3.But for all the users "Map Viewer", "Product Catalog", "Help" and "My Account" are the modules which are available by default. |
